The Niagra Falls waterfall is on the border of Ontario in Canada and New York in the United States. Niagara Falls is made up of three waterfalls called the American Falls, the Bridal Veil Falls in the Horseshoe Falls. The Horseshoe Falls are the largest. More than 44,000,000 gallons of water flow over Horseshoe Falls when the water is moving. Sometimes Niagara Falls freezes up. The waterfall was formed from a glacier that came through the area more than 10,000 years ago
