Conjunctions are words that join together other words or groups of words and connect them. Examples include and, or, and. For example: You can either wait on the steps or in the car. Or is the conjunction in that sentence.
Interjections are an abrupt remark made especially as an interruption. An interjection is an expression that occurs as an utterance on its own and should feel spontaneous or as a reaction to something. Example of an interjections: Dear me!, Oh?, and ah!
