Weather Forecasting can be tricky. Dangrous weather can come unexpected. A meteorologist uses several different things to predict the weather. In general if air pressure is rising or getting higher the weather will be calm and mild. If the air pressure is falling the weather is going to be rainy or stormy. Meteorologists use high-tech equipment to predict the weather.
Floods : the causes of floods include hurricanes, broken levees or dams, rapidly falling snow, or heavy slow-moving rain. A flood can happen in a few minutes or over weeks. No matter how quickly it happens or the cause flooding can be deadly. Floods occur all over the world.
